Opal Trantham, 83, of Kennett, died May 28, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Born Dec. 18, 1920, in Kennett, a daughter of the late William A. And Mamie Southern Reagan, she was a member of Slicer Street Church of Christ in Kennett.
On Feb. 6, 1952, in Piggott, Ark., she married George W. Trantham who preceded her in death Nov. 19, 2000.
She was also preceded in death by brothers Kenneth Eugene Reagan and Enoch Reagan.
Surviving are on son, Tony Trantham of Lenexa, Kan.; two daughters, Diane Pate and husband, Bobby, of Paragould, Ark. and Becky Stevens and husband, Russ, of Hartford, Ill.; one brother, Bill Reagan of Jefferson City, Mo.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 1, at McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett with Barry Joiner officiating.
Burial was in Memorial Garden Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Russ Stevens, Bobby Pate, Rusty Stevens, Everett Shreeves, Phil Stevens and Lee Stevens.
