Born Dec. 29, 1933, in Corning, Ark., son of the late Louis and Rosa Hedgecock Rawls, he was a U.S. Navy veteran and attended the Abundant Life Church in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion-VFW.
On July 5, 1968, in Malden, he married Barbara St. Cin, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Billy Woollums, of Malden and Terry Rawls, of Sikeston, Mo.; one daughter, Julie Drayton, of Lake Placid, Fla.; two step-daughters, Sheila Grissette, of Dothan and Pam Stone, of Dillon, Mont.; one brother, Clinton Rawls, of Milan, Ill.; two sisters, Sharon Williams, of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. and Patricia Freidman, of Campbell, Mo.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Janet Lee and Sheila Rawls; one step-son, Phillip Jones and one brother, Dallas Rawls.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Wednesday, May 12, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Shoup officiating.
Burial with military rites will follow at the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo.
