Gladys Peel Jennings, 43, of Aurora, Colo., formerly of Homestown, Mo., died Thursday, April 29, 2004, at her residence.
Born Oct. 18, 1960, in Kennett, daughter of Pauline Strong Peel and the late Robert Peel, she was an insurance underwriter and a member of the Heritage Christian Center in Denver, Colo.
On July 3, 1979, She married Ricky Jennings, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Ricky Tyrone Jennings, of Aurora; one daughter, Stacey L. Jennings, of Knoxville, Tenn.; her mother Pauline Peel, of Hayti, Mo.; eight brothers, Bobby, Charles, Robert Jr., Clifford and James Peel, all of Hayti, Jerry Peel, of Steele, Mo., Homer Peel, of Milwaukee, Wis. and Jackie Peel, of Malden, Mo.; a twin sister, Glenda Peel, of Aurora; five sisters, Trinita Peel, of Hayti, Henrietta Payne and husband, Tommy, of Springfield, Mo., Bessie Roland and husband, Carl, of Kennett and Paulette Jones and Joanne Williams, both of Minnesota and two grandchildren, Ricky Tyrone Jennings, Jr. and Khya LaShea Gladys Jennings, both of Aurora.
She was preceded in death by one sister Elizabeth Peel.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Friday, May 7, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Wardell, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 8, at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Homestown with the Bishop George Wilson and the Rev. Emmanuel Lofton officiating.
Burial will follow at the Homestown Cemetery.
