Vedra Hester Vermillion, 65, of Glen Allen, Mo., died Thursday, April 29, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Dec. 28, 1938, in Malden, Mo., daughter of the late Herman and Ammie Masterson Stark, she was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Marble Hill, Mo.
Survivors include one son, Jeff Moss, of Gideon, Mo.; four daughters, Jaylean Stout and Melissa Hodge, both of Dowagiac, Mich., Bethey Collins, of Gibson, Mo. and Sue Cureton, of Glenn Allen; three sisters, Neoma Kevitt, of Dexter, Mo., Tressa Midkiff, of Decatur, Mo. and Blenda Mosier, of Dowagiac; six brothers, James Stark, of St. Francis, Ark., Connie Stark, Bloomfield, Mo., E.C. Stark, of Kennett, Wayne Stark, of Malden, Bobby Stark, of Doniphan, Mo. and Ronnie Stark, of Gibson, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Billy Lynn Moss; one grandson, James Chapman and two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor Shipley.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Moss officiating.
Burial will follow at the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo.
