Pete Edmonston

Pete Edmonston, 79, of Schertz, Texas, formerly of Hornersville, Mo., died Monday, April 12, 2004, at San Antonio, Texas.

Born Oct. 3, 1924, in Hornersville, son of the late Arthur Neal and Gertie Edmonston, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during WWII and the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley A. Edmonston, of Schertz; three sons, Robert Douglas Edmonston and wife, Kathy, of Wimberley, Texas, William Paul Edmonston and wife, Sharon, of Magnolia, Texas and Stephen S. Pospisil, of Garber, Okla.; one daughter, Carolyn Faye Aird and husband, Doug, of San Antonio; two sisters, Lucille York, of Campbell, Mo. and Alfredia Kennedy, of Willard, Mo..

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Lewis, Vina Williams and Viola Ray and one brother, Marvin Edmonston.

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 15.

Burial was in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
