Lottie Irene Ray, 86, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., died Monday, April 26, 2004, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

Born Aug. 27, 1917, in Hardy, Ark., daughter of the late Mentford Gracon and Myrtle Charlottie Benton Bryant, she was a Southeast Missouri Hospital Auxiliary Volunter and a member of the First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

On Dec. 15, 1936, in Black Oak, Ark., she married Delbert Leon Ray, who preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 1965. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one grandson.

Survivors include three sons, Cloyce Leon and Bertis Carlene Ray, both of Jonesville, La. and Willis Duane Ray, of Holcomb, Mo.; one daughter, Anita Irene Nall, of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Juanita Stevens, of Phoenix, Ariz. and Dorothy Lois Thompson, of Anaheim, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jay White officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
