Edith Marie Howren, 91, of St. Peters, Mo., formerly of Bragg City, Mo., died Friday, April 16, 2004, at St. Peters Nursing Manor.
Born Feb. 25, 1913, in Hanceville, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Oscar Cleveland and Nettie Ellen Elliott Coffman.
She married Wesley Allen Howren, who preceded her in death on March 1, 1968. She was also preceded in death by one son, Wesley Howren; one daughter, Betty Smith; one sister, Evelyn Howren and two brothers, Junior and J.C. Coffman.
Survivors include one daughter, Nettie Graham, of O'Fallon, Mo.; one brother, Cecil Coffman, of Torrace City, Ala.; three grandchildren, Kevin Graham, Derek Howern and Peggy Smith and one great-grandchild, Tina Graham.
Funeral services were held at noon Monday, April 19, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Ronnie, Gary, David, Bill and Keith Howren and Bob Coleman.
