James Richmond

James Harvey Richmond, 61, of Malden, Mo., died Friday, April 16, 2004, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.

Born June 23, 1942, in Gideon, Mo., son of the late Merle and Nola Peacock Richmond, he was a U.S. Army veteran.

He married Brenda Pattillo, who survives.

Survivors also include two sons, Kenneth Suttles and wife, Scarlette, of Bernie, Mo. and James 'Jamie" Richmond, of Gideon; two daughters, Vickie Tubbs and Melissa Richmond, both of Gideon; five sisters, Eula Mae Roper and Wilma Lovelace, both of Malden, Aline Siars, of St. louis, Mo., Judy Keith, of Independence, Mo. and Pat Sheets, of Jacksonville, Fla. and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, Triston Woodrow Tubbs; one sister, Joan Kinder and one brother, Donald Ray Hanners.

Funeral srvices were held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 19, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Gideon with the Rev. Larry Portwood officiating.

Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
