Levolia White, 70, of Kennett, died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at Three Rivers HealthCare North in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Born April 12, 1934, in Bragg City, Mo., daughter of the late Cass Monroe and Bessie White Palmer, she was employed at Emerson Electric and a member of the Victory Temple Church of God in Christ in Kennett.
On May 12, 1949, in Piggott, Ark., she married Guy White, who survives.
Survivors also include four sons, Guy V. White, Jr., of Collinsville, Ill. and LeRoy, Leo Larenzo and Donnie Joe White, all of Kennett; six daughters, Johnnie Pearl White, of Ypsilant, Mich., Patricia Ann and Naomi White, both of Jonesboro, Ark., Janette White McKinney and Levelia Latrece White, both of Kennett and Amelia Kay Gray, of Canton, Mich.; four sisters, Lelia Pearl Pulliam and Pearlie Mister, both of Kennett, Johnnie Mae Hardy, of Chicago, Ill. and Eartha Bethea, of Benton Harbor, Mich.; two brothers, Joseph and James "Tom" Palmer, both of Benton Harbor and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jeffery Lynn White; two brothers, Thomas Lee and Therdore Palmer and three sisters, Josie Harrell, Bertha Mayes and Earline Smith.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, April 20, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, at the Victory Temple Church of God in Christ in Kennett with Elisha Pullen officiating.
Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
