James Harvey Richmond, 61, of Malden, Mo., died Friday, April 16, 2004, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.
Born June 23, 1942, in Gideon, Mo., a son of the late Merle and Nola Peacock Richmond, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
In 1967, in Gideon, he married Brenda Patillo, from whom he was later divorced. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Kenneth Suttles and wife, Scarlette, of Bernie, Mo., James "Jamie" Richmond of Gideon; two daughters Melissa Richmond and Vickie Tubbs, both of Gideon; five sisters, Eula Mae Roger and Wilma Lovelace, both of Malden, Aline Siars of St. Louis, Judy Keith of Independence, Mo. and Pat Sheets of Jacksonville, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Triston Woodrow Tubbs; one sister, Joan Kinder and one brother, Donald Ray Hanners.
Visitation will be 11 am. Monday, April 19, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden until the time of service at 1 p.m.
Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
