Wilbert Leon Hager, 61, of Holcomb, Mo., died Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at his residence.
Born Aug. 28, 1942, at Poplar Bluff, Mo., son of the late George Wilbert and Bessie Thelma Newton Hager, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a truck driver. He was a member of the Sugar Tree Baptist Church.
On Jan. 15, 1966, in Holcomb, he married Elsie Maybelle Simms, who survives.
Survivors also include three brothers, Harry Hager, of Broken Bow, Neb., Ricky Hager, of Canon City, Colo. and Rocky Hager, of Hot Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Marine Metcalf, of Campbell, Mo. and Jenie Riggs, of Bornhart, Ind. and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, LaDonna Jean Kersey; one brother, Ramond Hager and one sister, Marcella Turner.
The family will have a private service.
