Lonzo N. Gulledge, 97, of Campbell, Mo., died Sunday, April 11, 2004, at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.
Born on November 22, 1906 in Malden, Mo., a son of the late Eliza and Martha Hampton Gulledge, he was a retired factory worker and attended the New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Martin Gulledge of California; one sister, Eva Valinti of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; adopted and raised six grandchildren, Michael Bertolie, Ed Silva, Joe Silva, Tim Silva, Julie Hanley, and Sheerie Silva; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three daughters, Virginia Gulledge, Geretine Silva, and Edra Silva; one son, Sanford Gulledge; one grandson, Deano Silva; one brother and one sister.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., today, Tuesday, April 13, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, April 14, at the Landess Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be in the Stevens Cemetery in Malden.
