Florentine Brooks, 74, of Kennett, died Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at the Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born on July 27, 1929 in Vienna, Mo., a daugther of the late Henry and Pauline Richter Stratman, she was a member of the St. Cecilla Catholic Church in Kennett.

On April 3, 1951 she married Rayburn Brooks, who preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 1993.

Survivors include 32 nieces and nephews, one brother, Bill Stratman of Vienna, Mo., and one sister, Margaret Fennewald of Martinsburg, Mo.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alphonse and Leo Stratman and Father Ambrose Stratman and one sister, Agnes Schwartz.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., on Sunday, April 11 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Monday, April 12, at the St. Cecilla Catholic Church in Kennett with Father Allan Saunders officiating.

Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens in Kennett.

Pallbearers will be her neices and nephews.
