Bron on May 7, 1917 in Rector, Ark. She was a beautician with Elizabeth Arden Maine Chance in Scottsdale, Az., and a member of the North Phoenix Baptist Church and a member of the Sanctuary and joy Singers Choir.

She was married to Wesley Waddell, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Lorna Bennett, Phyllis Stevenson, and Pat Straughan; two sons, W.W. "Bill" and John Wesley Waddell; six grandchildren, W.W. "Bill" Waddell, Jr., Commander Mark D. Waddell, Jack W. Waddell, Matthew Waddell, Lisa J. Montgomery and R. Todd Montgomery; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at Chapel North Phoenix Baptist Church.

A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel were in charge of services.
