Mary Maglene Banks, 76, of Rector, Ark., died Sunday, March 28, 2004 at Rector Health Care in Rector.
Born December 20, 1927 in Friendship, Mo., daughter of the late John Alfred and Rosie Lemmons, she was a homemaker and of the Penticostal faith.
Survivors include six sons, James "Cowboy" Banks and Dennis "Sonny" Banks, both of Rector, Mciheal "Doc" Banks, of Nimmons, Ark., Jimmy "Bones" Banks, of Leachville, Ark., Manuel "Hoss" Banks and Caroll "Guiea" Banks, both of Paragould, Ark.; six daughters, Diane Burdin, Pat "Trix" Clayton and Georgia Rois, all of Rector, Reba Beck, of Nimmons, Martha Stevens and Euelyn Clark, both of Paragould; two brothers, Charles and Tommy Lemmons, both of Illinois; three sisters, Christine Weaver and Dora Presley, both of Illinois and Bonnie Lemmons, of Louisiana; 29 grandchildren, 19 step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 50 step-great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Dude Banks; two sons, James and Larry Banks; one grandson, Jeremy Banks; one granddaughter, Megan Russom; two great granddaughters, Taylor and Aubrey Brudin; one step-grandson, Leslie Wyatt and one daughter-in-law, Kathy Banks.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Tuesday, March 30, at the Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 31, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Carter officiating.
Burial will follow at the Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons.
