Mable Ruth Richardson, 77, of Malden, Mo., died Friday, March 26, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Jan. 10, 1927, in Painton, Mo., daughter of the late Thomas Carl and Eliza Shaffer Cooper, she was a member of the Lynn Oak Baptist Church in Clarkton, Mo.
On April 19, 1952, in Piggott, Ark., she married Abner Driver Richardson, who preceded her in death on July 8, 1977. She was also preceded in death by six sisters, Lucy Karnes, Vivian Faulkner, Jeanette Cooper, Opal Cooper, Gladys Newton and Alma Rhine and three brothers, Paul, Buddy and Gordon Cooper.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Hewitt, Janis Rackley and Becky Pool, all of Malden; one son, Gary Cooper; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 30, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Richardson officiating.
Burial will follow at the Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Clarkton.
