Eulis "Tut" Tuten, 77, of Arbyrd, Mo., died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at his residence.
Born May 10, 1926, in Morrilton, Ark., son of the late Robert and Eva Whaley Tuten, he was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Hornersville, Mo. American Legion No. 362 and Masonic Lodge No. 215 AF&AM. He was a member of the Hornersville Baptist Church and in the construction business.
He married Patsy Ann Pate, who survives.
Survivors also include five sons, Bobby Tuten, of Hornersville, David Tuten, of Buckeye, Ark. and Jimmy Don Pierce and Danny and Billy Pate, all of Arbyrd; two daughters, Kim Hodges and Tammy Ingram, both of Arbyrd; one brother, J.R. Tuten, of Quitman, Ark.; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three daughters, Brenda Sue Parks, Robin Winkle and Kelly Pate and one son, David Pate.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, March 25, at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Bradshaw Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangments.
