Raeburn Aubry Pritchard, 77, of Bragg City, Mo., died Sunday, March 21, 2004, at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Mo.
Born Sept. 4, 1926, in Steele, Mo., son of the late James Frank and Sarah Gray Cary Pritchard, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in WWII and the Korean Conflict and a farmer.
On Sept. 23, 1948, in Piggott, Ark., he married Mary Laster, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Thomas Ray Pritchard, of Hayti and Robert Paul Pritchard, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; one daughter, Pamela Gardner, of Caruthersville, Mo.; one sister, Bonnie Nell Randolph, of Jackson, Tenn.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Delmar, Leonard and Thomas Pritchard and two sisters, Louetta Speight and Addie Lee Farrell.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, March 23, at the Bragg City Baptist Church with the Revs. Dale Rickman and O.H. Brooks officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallearers were Hughie "Gabby" and David Bond, Michael and Terry Hawkins, Aaron Ivie and Tom Duncan.
Honorary pallbearers were Everett Marchbanks, Charles Cain, Mr. McMahon, Balus Singletery, Larry Norman, Judson Goodrich, Elmer Tomlinson, Tommy McDonald and Wayne Kincaid.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
