Felix Morgan Franks, Sr., 92 of Hayti, Mo., died March 11, 2004 at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born April 20, 1911 in Houston, Miss., son of the late Alvie and Dora Ashcraft Franks, he was retired from M.F.A. Fertilizer and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
On March 21, 1931, in Lepanto, Ark., he married Lucille Mary McKnight, who preceded him in death on May 28, 2003.
Survivors include two sons, Walter Franks and wife, Murline, and A.G. Franks and wife, Bonnie, all of Hayti; one daughter-in-law, Alma Ruth Franks of Kennett; three sisters, Blatche Napier, Margie Pebbles and Mary Alice Dickson, all of Michigan; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Hayti with the Rev. Jerry Baker officiating.
Burial was in the Pemiscot Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Caruthersville, Mo.
Pallbearers were Walter Franks, Jr., A.G. "Sam" Franks, Jr., Randall Franks, Randall Franks, Jr., Joe Gorman and Shane Deaton.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of arrangements.
