Born August 15, 1936 in Muskogee, Okla., son of the late Clinton P. and Mary Hawkins Futrell, he was a member of the United Methodist Church in Malden, a member of the United Methodist Men's and Lions Clubs and a United States Air National Guard Veteran.
On September 3, 1997, in Osage Beach, Mo., he married Joy B. Waller, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include, one son, Price Futrell and wife, Pennie, of Keller, Texas; one daughter, Nancy Kalman and husband, Dale, of Parker, Colo.; step-children, Jessica Waller of Atlanta, Ga., John Waller of San Diego, Calif., Stephine Mungle and husband, Shannon, of Malden; one brother, Clarence Futrell, of Checotah, Okla. and four grandchildren, Chelsea and Chase Futrell, both of Keller and Seth and Sydney Mungle, both of Malden.
A Celebration of Life was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden.
