Virgie Virginia Britt, 77, of Cardwell, Mo., died March 5, 2004 at the Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould, Ark.
Born March 24, 1926 in Senath, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Jess and Mary Brannum Wilson.
She married Arthur Ludie Britt, who preceded her in death in 1986. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Ludine Britt; two brothers, Vernon and Virgil Wilson; two sisters, Helen Hicks and Betty Rogers and two grandsons, Buddy Allen Lee and Son Whitworth.
Survivors include two sons, Lonzoo Jessee Britt and wife, Anna Mae, and Roger Ludie Britt and wife, Diane, all of Cardwell; three daughters, Branda Kaye McClish and husband, Walter, of Senath, Phyllis Sue Whitworth and husband, Larry, of Portageville, Mo. and Patsy JoAnn McClish of Cardwell; one brother, Archie Lee Wilson, of Hornersville, Mo.; one sister, Keatha Rheingard of Cardwell; 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and one adopted grand-son.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 7, at the Full Gospel Church in Senath with the Revs. Truman Wycoff, Maurice Walker and Andy Smith officiating.
Burial was in the Senath Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Benny Britt, Michael Whitworth, Roger Britt, Jr., Jonathan Thomas, Mark Lee, Paul Wilson, and Timmy McClish.
Honorary pallbearers were Randy Dunigan, Tracy Perkins, Donald Rogers, and Greg Masterson.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath was in charge of arrangements.
