Yonnie Evaline Harris, 89, of Steele, Mo., died Sunday, March 7, 2004 at the River Oaks Care Center in Steele.
Born in Jonesboro, Ark., daughter of the late William and Martha Turner, she was a member of the Eastern Star, having served as a Worthy Matron. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Steele.
She married James F. Harris, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Willie A. and Johnnie Lee Turner; two half-brothers, Raymond and Kent Taylor and one half-sister, Thelma Hicks.
Survivors include one son, James Harold Hicks, of Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Betty Lou Smith, of Flagstaff, Ark., Eva Jeanette Enzor, of Fayetteville, Ark. and Marilyn Mae Crews, of Steele; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 9, at the Howard Funeral Home in Manila, Ark.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, at the Howard Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jim Mousie and Eddie Hawkins officiating.
Burial will follow at the Manila Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
