Lloyd Peridore, 75, of Campbell, Mo., died Sunday, March 7, 2004, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Feb. 10, 1929, in Campbell, son of the late Alfred and Mary Dalton Peridore, he was a maintenance worker at John's Produce and a member of the First Baptist Church in Campbell.
On Aug. 7, 1948, in Piggott, Ark., he married Evalyne Perryman, who preceded him in death on Oct. 2, 1995. He married Betty Smith on Oct. 11, 2003, who survives.
Survivors also include five daughters, Wanda Montgomery and husband, Eddie and Mary Brannan and husband, Rick, all of Campbell, Lynn Poole and husband, Charlie, of Piggott, Sue Hawkins and husband, David, of Dexter, Mo. and Lou Shepard and husband, Earl, of Dorchester, S.C.; one son, Lloyd Peridore, Jr. and wife, Vanita, of Dexter; four step-sons, Jackie Downs and wife, Connie, of Dittmer, Mo., Ronnie Downs and wife, Robin, of Albany, Ga., Bill Downs, of Campbell and Donnie Downs and wife, Gayla, of Ellsinore, Mo.; two step-daughters, Laverne Jones and husband, Gill, of Campbell and Betty Ann Spear, of Jonesboro, Ark.; one brother, Howard Peridore, of Sikeston, Mo.; three sisters, Geneva Morgan and Joyce Ann Staggs, both of Sikeston and Mary Ruth Nichols, of Matthews, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Davey Hawkins; three brothers, James, Lindsey and Paul Gene Peridore and one sister, Lois Freeman.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, March 9, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell, with Pastor Earl D. Dell and the Rev. Dennis McGinley officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
