Lottie Vandalley Hunt, 87, of Marston, Mo., formerly of Wardell, Mo., died Thursday, March 4, 2004, at her home.
Born April 6, 1916, at Stamps, Ark., she was a daughter of the late William Lester and Rosie Ellen Clark Gribble.
On Nov. 23, 1937, at Caruthersville, Mo., she married Claude "Shortie" Hunt who preceded her in death July 29, 1966.
Survivors include eight daughters, Catherine Raymond of Blytheville, Ark., Nadine Tortilott of Naples, Fla., Pauline Murphy of New Madrid, Mo., Arline Baker of Russellville, Ala., Frances Russell of Marston, Margaret Treadway of Batesville, Ark., Diane Canavess of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Ruby Conner of St. Louis; three sons, Arthur "Butch" Hunt of Bernie, Mo., Claude "Clyde" Hunt of Batesville and Tony Hunt of Wardell; three sisters, Pearl Hill of Ellsinore, Mo., Mary Hudson of Kalamazoo, Mich. and Nora Lee Powell of Dexter, Mo.; 42 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Jimmy Dale Hunt; and two brothers, Thomas Gribble and John Gribble.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 7, at Bradshaw Funeral Chapel at Wardell with the Rev. Charles Pipkens officiating.
Burial will be Wardell Memorial Cemetery at Wardell.
