Eva Sutton, 84, of Saginaw, Texas, formerly of Kennett, died Tuesday, March 2, at North Pointe Nursng Center in Watauga,Texas.
Born Jan. 22, 1920, in Kennett, a daughter of Shelron L. and Ada Bennett Chailland, she was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
On Sept. 9, 1939, she married Floyd Sutton who preceded her in death April 25, 1974.
Surviving are one son, Carroll Lee Sutton of Fort Worth, Texas; one daughter, Theresa Ann Goodrich of Fort Worth; one brother, Jack Chailland of Kennett, one sister, Wanda Dotson of Kennett; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three adopted great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Jim Lewis officiating.
Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Bill Blanchard, Rusty Blanchard, L.C. Cuff, Tommy Sutton, Mike Todd and Tom Leeker.
Honorary pallbearers were Harry Rogers, Andy Barnett, Jim Baker and Ronald Napier.
