Leroy McDaniel

Leroy McDaniel, 78, of Kennett, died Monday, March 1, 2004, at his residence.

Born June 4, 1925, in Bono, Ark., he was the son of the late Walter Lee McDaniel and Beatrice Rebecca Malady.

Survivors include two sons, J.R. McDaniel, of Kennett and Billy McDaniel; four daughters, Teresa Jackson, Anna and Sandi McDaniel and Becky Trainer, all of Kennett; one brother, Leon McDaniel, of Kennett and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Levi and Willie Lee McDaniel and two sisters, Helen McDaniel and Sylvia Songer.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 3, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Lee Weeks officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Ricky, Dewayne and David Trainer, Dashel Finley, Bradley Lowry and Larry Killian.
