Harry J. Kick, 80, of Ballwin, Mo., formerly of Wardell, Mo., died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at West County Care Center in Ballwin.
Born Feb. 27, 1923, in Doniphan, Mo., son of the late Harry F. and Minnie F. Colburn Kick, he was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served in WWII. He was a farmer, employed at the Archard Corp. in St. Louis and was of the Baptist faith.
In Jan. 23, 1946, in St. Louis, he married Louise Stewart, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, James Kick and wife, Barbara and Charles Kick and wife, Susan, all of St. Louis; one daughter, Mary Frances Fear, of St. Louis; two sisters, Bernice Jones, of Monmouth, Ill. and Phyllis Crisler, of Cash, Ark.; six grandchildren, Laura, Elizabeth, Kim, Robert, Shannon and Ben and two great-grandsons, James and Donavan.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Elaine Howell and three brothers, Jack, Phillip and Troy.
Visitation will begin at noon Friday, Feb. 27, at the Baptist Church in Wardell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at the Baptist Church in Wardell with the Rev. Griff Walker officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Cemetery in Wardell.
