Born April 2, 1962, in Illinois, the son of Darrell and Louise Barnes Shock, of Gideon, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Gideon. A graduate of Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, Ark., he owned and operated Shock Tucking of Gideon.
On Nov. 26, 1988, in Gideon, he married Sharri Tatum who suvives.
Other survivors include a son, Justin Conner Shock of Gideon, a daughter Erica Tatum Shock of Gideon and father-in-law, Carl Douglas Scott of Lilbourn, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Judy Scott.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Sunday, Feb. 15, at Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden, Mo.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, in the Landess Chapel with the Rev. Travis Lambert and Gene Lancaster officiating.
Blurial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
