James Courtney Burnett, 61, of Steele, Mo., died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at his residence.
Born Oct. 15, 1942, in Gobler, Mo., son of the late James Courtney and Gracie Stewart Burnett, he was a U.S. Marine veteran.
Survivors include two sons, John and Dennis Burnett, both of the Phillippines; one daughter, Mary Jane Harris and husband, Sam, of Michigan; one brother, Julues Burnett and wife, Helen, of Steele and four sisters, Margaret Love and Mary Kay Ross, both of Kansas City, Mo. Annie Daniels, of California and Bessie Boyd, of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ardella Roberts and Mattie Daniels.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andrew Brodie officiating.
Burial will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.
