Kittie Wayne Poe, 90, of Springfield, Mo., formerly of Arbyrd, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at Mercy Villa Nursing Home in Springfield.
Born July 15, 1913, in Hollywood, Mo., daughter of the late Sameul Cheatam and Emma Schultz Rose, she was a LPN at Presnell and Dunklin County Hospital.
She married Delois Poe, Grover Lane and Harold Wilson, who all preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, David Lee Poe; three brothers, Earl, Schultz and Bill Rose and three sisters, Julia Johnson, JoNell Brown and June Robertson.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Bell and husband, Mike, of Springfield, Mo.; three brothers, S.C. Rose, of Hughes, Ark., Floyd Rose, of Leachville, Ark. and Clint Rose, of Hornersville, Mo.; two sisters, Mayfus Buck, of Cuba, Ala. and Sharon Selby, of Leachville; two grandchildren, Michael Bell, of Kennett and Amy Scheihing, of Springfield and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Allen Cureton officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Randy and Ricky Rose, Greg and Joe David Poe, Everitt Delaney and John Prijatel.
