Esther C. Worley, 90, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Mo.
Born Oct. 8, 1913, in Greenway, Ark., daughter of the late J.N. and Mary Frances Brunce Churchill, she worked at Stix-Bauer-Fuller Department Store as a seamsterss. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
In 1933, in Caruthersville, Mo., she married J. Mark Bitticks, who preceded her in death on June 8, 1971. In 1978, in Collinsville, Ill., she married Clark M. Worley, who preceded her in death in 1988. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Frances; one son, Rev. Donald Ray Bitticks; two sisters and seven brothers.
Survivors include one sister, Beatrice Highley, of Caruthersville.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruhersville with the Rev. Elmer Brunton officiating.
Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were Earl Curtis, Fearl Faulkner, Larry Churchill, Cletus Mott, John Barnett and Bill Turnbow.
