Nadean Freeman, 69, of Malden, Mo., died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Born June 5, 1934, in Dunklin County, Mo., the daughter of the late Curtis Washington and Mary Magdalene Knight Burchett, she was the retired owner of an antique store in Clarkton, Mo. and member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Malden.
On Aug. 12, 1950, in St. Louis, she married Edward "Sarge" Freeman who preceded her in death May 13, 2000.
Surviving are a daughter, Diane Bates and husband, Stag, of Poplar Bluff; a son, Jason Freeman and wife, Diane, of Malden; daughter-in-law, Regina Freeman of Malden; a sister, Avenell Christeson of St. Louis; 12 grandchildren and four great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Freeman; a daughter, Connie Freeman; a brother, Raymond Burchett and a grandson, Joseph Freeman.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. today, Sunday, Jan. 25, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at the Bradshaw Chapel with the Rev. Richard Blagg officiating.
Burial will be in Rosewood Cemetery in Malden.
