Byrdie Martin, 90, of Bradenton, Fla., died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at her residence.
Born Nov. 14, 1913, in Pontotoc, Miss., daughter of the late William Holder and Martha Mary Elizabeth Miller Greenwood, she worked at General Motors and was of the Baptist faith.
On Feb. 24, 1935, in Piggott, Ark., she married Richard Lonzo Martin, who preceded her in death on April 30, 1973.
Survivors include one daughter, Sally Ann Martin Hill and husband, Jerry, of Bradenton, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Christine Landess Beall, of Campbell; two grandsons, Dr. Harold Morgan, Jr., of Michigan and Richard Lamson, of Florida and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 20, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden, Mo. with the Rev. Jeff Gatewood officiating.
Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
