Frederick Thomas Mclean, 74, of Beebe, Ark., died Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at Beebe Retirement Center.
Born Jan. 19, 1929, in Flint, Mich., son of the late Eugene and Ida Mary Shirkey McLean, he worked for General Motors. He was a member of Local No. 653 VAW, in Pontiac, Mo. and a member of the First Baptist Church in Blytheville, Ark.
On Oct. 20, 1962, in Tennessee, he married Mary Reeves, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Oscar and Patrick McLean, both of Flint, Mich.; two daughters, Kathleen Barnes, of Wilmington, N.C. and Paulette Passmore, of Flint; one sister, Marian Gallipole, of Grand Blanc, Mich.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Lanny McLean; four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Earl Dell officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
