E.H. "Tut" Felker, 84, of Caruth, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at the Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
He was born Sept. 10, 1919, in Caruth, son of the late B.S. "Boss" and Lucinda Whitney Felker. Having served in WWII, he was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Felker was a prominent member of the community and a successful farmer. He was a member of the Caruth United Methodist Church.
On Nov. 19, 1948, Tut married Bonnie M. Cook, who survives.
He was also survived by three sons, Tom Felker and wife, Kathy, Gene Felker and Bruce Felker, all of Caruth; three daughters, Dianna Branum and husband, Kevin, of Orlando, Fla., Sharon Key and husband, Glenn, of Germantown, Tenn. and Susan Felker, of Caruth; eight grandchildren, Michael Felker, David Felker, Cassie Branum, Corrie Branum, David Jacob, Shelly Jones, Brad Burton and Victoria Key and four great-grandchildren, Jessica, Meagan and Jake Jones and Andrian Burton.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Dick Felker and six sisters, Pearl Braden, Nola Grindstaff, Oleene R. Grimes, Eunice Crites, Estalee Crites and Margie Caudle.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. yesterday, Thursday, Jan. 15, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Hogue officiating.
The burial was at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Kevin Casey, Tom Chailland, Dennis Chailland, Glen Cannon, Jr., Tommy Joe Chandler, Tony Cannon and Mark Cannon.
