Martin "Marty" McLain, 59, of Hornersville, Mo., died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, at the Arkansas Methodist Hosptial in Paragould, Ark.
Born Nov. 12, 1944, in Senath, Mo., he was the son of Ray McLain and Edna Wayne Rickman.
On Aug. 30, 1997, in Hornersville, he married Alice Faye McElhaney, who survives.
Survivors also include his mother, Edna Wayne Harvey, of Senath; his father, Ray McLain, of Longview, Texas; one son, Billy Brisher and wife, Dorothy, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; two daughters, Diana Brisher, of Hornersville and Judy Davis and husband, John, of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Joe McClain and wife, Chevela, of Senath and Stewart McLain and wife, Brenda, of Puxico, Mo.; three sisters, Printess McLain, of Senath, Diane Lingle and husband, Ron, of Bloomsdale, Mo. and Tammy Payne and husband, Travis, of Rives, Mo. and five grandchildren, Shyla, Madelyn and Joseph Brisher and Hanna and Chloe Davis.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Revs. Dale Rickman and Derek Combs officiating.
Burial was in the McGrew Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Billy Brisher, John Davis, Ronald, Michael and Chris McLain and Jonathan and Jonus Payne.
