Edith Elizabeth Risley, 65, of Campbell, Mo., died today, Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, at her residence.
Born Dec. 24, 1938, in Dyersville, La., daughter of the late Clarence Bernard and Agnes Agatha Hele Recker, she was owner of Risley's Variety Store and a member of the St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Glennonville.
On Aug. 31, 1968, in St. Louis, Mo., she married David Risley, who survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Christie Renner and husband, Scott, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; one son, Brian Risley and wife, Cordellia, of Springfield, Mo.; three sisters, Sister Doris Recker, of Midlothian, Fla., Phyllis Buget, of Ankeny, Iowa and Ellen Deabiens, of Peterborough, Ontario; one brother, Don Ricken, of Tempe, Ariz. and one granddaughter, Jourdan Renner.
She was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Lucille Ann Recker.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at the St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Glennonville with Father Glenn Eftink officiating.
Burial will follow at the Elder Cemetery in Campbell.
