Eddie Duncan, 78, of Pascola, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Nov. 16, 1925, in Parkin, Ark., son of the late James Denimin and Mamie Hopkins Duncan, he was a farm laborer and a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Pascola.
On Dec. 20, 1950, in Harrison, Ark., he married Lavanie Petigo, who survives.
Survivors also include three sons, Eddie Duncan, Jr., of Wardell, Mo., Sammy Duncan, of Pascola and Harry Duncan and wife, Edna, of Letona, Ark.; five daughters, Wanda Rickman and husband, Russell, of Kansas City, Mo., Linda Baldwin and husband, Douglas, of Cordova, S.C., Kathyren Mendoza and husband, Luis, of Sacramento, Calif., Christina Dell and husband, Chris, of Brosley, Mo. and Kimberly Howenstine and husband, Bradley, of Pascola; two brothers, A.P. Duncan, of Sedgwick, Ark. and Benny Wilson, of Denton, Texas; one sister, Nettie Wilson, of Boise, Idaho.; 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and three grandsons.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Hayti, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Mike Tinnin officiating.
Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti.
