Thomas Clyde Hamlett, 68, of O'Fallon, Ill., died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at O'Fallon.
Born Jan. 4, 1935,at Arbyrd, Mo., a son of the late Eual and Mary Helen Oliver Hamlett, he was retired from McDonnel Douglas and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He married Mary Ethridge, who survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Lou Bennett and husband, Jeff, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Sheila Glenn and husband, Doug, of Belleville, Ill.: two brothers, Bob Hamlett and wife, Bettie, and Bill Hamlett and wife, Merideth, all of Kennett; three sisters, Anne Cochran and husband, Ernest, of Florida, Connie Inklebarger and husband, Joel, of Old Monroe, Mo. and Sherry Hold and husband, Melvin, of Minneapolis, Minn; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Hamlett.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Sunday, Jan. 11, at McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett with Spencer Furby officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearers are Douglas Glenn, Jeff Bennett, J.J. Hamlett, Joey Hamlett, Michael Hamlett and Jerry Laster.
