Fred Milligan, 91, of Senath, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, at the Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould, Ark.
Born Oct. 2, 1912, in Nesbit, Mo., he was the son of the late James Roscoe and Sue Ella Screws Milligan.
On June 15, 1939, in Senath, he married Myrl Emery, who survives.
Survivors include one son, Freddie Dale Milligan and wife, Judy, of Collierville, Tenn.; one brother, Jim Milligan and wife, Mary, of Senath; two grandchildren, Christopher and Kerry Milligan and five great-grandchildren, Matt, Brad, Ashley, Jake and Daniel Milligan.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Floyd and G.W. Milligan.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the Assembly of God Church in Senath with the Rev. Wayland Tom officiating.
Burial was in the Senath Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tony Emery, Danny Wheeler, Keith Milligan, Ronnie Newman, Vernon Stoker and Sonny Krantz.
Honorary pallbearers were Hursel Masteron, Junior Vaughn, Tom Milburn, Greg Gibson, Floyd Britton and Wally Brown.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath was in charge of arrangements.
