Howard Edward Barron, 88, of Kennett, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at his residence.
Born Feb. 23, 1915, in Mississippi, son of the late Ollie and Edna Watts Barron, he was manager for an automatic car wash, a member of Odd Fellow and of the Friendship Baptist Church.
On Sept. 17, 1937, in Caruthersville, Mo., he married Anna Praze, who survives.
Survivors also include one sister, Vera Ward, of Florida and one brother, of California.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, at the Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele, Mo.
Pallbearers were Jim Barron, Rick Burdin, Ron Harris, Joe Lewellyng, Tommy Masterson and Darrell Wheeler.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti, Mo. was in charge of arrangements.
