Mary Dane Bradsher, 78, of Troy, Mo., formerly of Hayti, Mo., died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at St. Joseph Medical Center in St. Charles, Mo.
Born May 30, 1925, in Obion County, Tenn., a daughter of the late John Willis and Pauline Duke Turnage, she was a graduate of Deering High School, a clerk at Barkovitz Variety Store, an election judge and member of RSVP and First Baptist Church in Hayti where she was a choir member.
On July 20, 1946, in Blytheville, Ark., she married Harold Kenton "Doc" Bradsher who preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 1990. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Louis Turnage and Duke Turnage.
Surviving are one son, Micke Bradsher and wife, Sharon, of Troy; a sister, Louise Webb of Cahokia, Ill.; one brother, J.W. "June Bug" and wife, Jean, of Hayti; a granddaughter, Jamie Shari Atchley of Troy; a grandson, Lance Gregory Bradsher of Troy; and one great-granddaughter, Kelsey Shari Atchley of Troy.
Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 2, at First Baptist Church in Hayti with Dr. Mike Melton officiating.
Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Lance Bradsher, Rob Atchley, Sonny Turnage, Rick Turnage, Duke Turnage and Patrick Turnage.
