Hannah Estell Jones, 91, of Malden, Mo., died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.
Born Aug. 8, 1912, in Campbell, Mo., daughter of the late David and Annie Beaton House, she was a factory worker and of the Baptist faith.
On Sept. 10, 1947, in Piggott, she married Tom Jones, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, Walter "Doc" Baker; three sisters, Mary Laughary, Minnie McGuire and Lucille McElwrath and two brothers, Sydney and Gene House.
Survivors include three daughters, Eula Hill, of East Peoria, Ill., Beulah Noe and husband, Darrell, of Little Rock, Ark. and Bobbie Carroll and husband, George, of Chillicothe, Ill.; one sister, Maudie Benton, of Bloomfield, Mo.; two brothers, Elton House, of Marshfield, Mo. and Thomas House, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; four grandchildren, AllenJames, GarysWalters, Sam Hill and Vicki Bufford; five great-grandchildren, Jennifer Roseboom, Chris Walters, LeAnn James, and Lacy and Danny Bufford and two great-great-grandchildren, Christopher Walters and Lauren May.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden.
Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
