James Vernon "Jim" St. Cin, 56, of Wardell, Mo., died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at the Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Born Sept. 17, 1947, in Gideon, Mo., son of Vernon "Doc" and Nellie Davis St. Cin, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, attended Wardell Baptist Church, was a member of the Church of God in Gideon, a member of the Wardell Lions Club and the American Legion. He was former Mayoron the North Pemiscot School Board.
On June 18, 1983, in Wardell, he married Johnna Walker, who survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Sonya Kaye St. Cin-Haddock, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two sons, Zachary Allen and Grant Walker St. Cin, both of Wardell; one brother, Gerald St. Cin, of Flint, Mich. and one brother-in-law, Lawrence Holt, of Kennett.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Ruth Holt.
Funeral services with military rites were held at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the Wardell Baptist Church with the Rev. Griff Walker officiating.
Burial was in the Missouri Veteran Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo.
Bradshaw Funeral Home of Wardell was in charge of arrangements.
