O.C. Fry, 79, of Malden, Mo., died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born May 4, 1924, at Malden, a son of the late Oscar Clarence and Lillie Stewart Fry, he was retired from Federal Mogul in Malden and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II. He was a member of Second General Baptist Church of Malden.
On Aug. 8, 1942, at Malden, he married Mary Louise Hodges who preceded him in death May 27, 1997. On June 2, 2002, he married Verla Davis Batchlor who survives.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Fry and wife, Nancy, of Malden and Ronald Fry and wife, Nancy, of Hillsboro, Ill.; one daughter, Mary Davis and husband, Jerry, of Robertsville, Mo.; two brothers, Bud Fry of Oregon and Billy Fry of Rochelle, Ill.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Sunday, Dec. 28, at Bradshaw Funeral Chapel in Malden with the Revs. Lawrence Gibbons and Martin Goode officiating.
Burial with military rites in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
