Elva Marie Hodge, 86, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at the Monticello House in Jackson, Mo.
Born Oct. 14, 1917, daughter of the late Taylor and Fannie Rodery Baker, she worked at Federal Mogul in Malden and was a member of the Lynwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
She married Floyd "Shorty" Lester Hodge, who preceded her in death on May 20, 1958.
Survivors include one daughter, Nelda L. Hodge, of Cape Girardeau; one son, Floyd R. Hodge, of Arvada, Colo. and three grandchildren, Cynthia and Carrie Hodge, both of Arvada and Cherie R. Hodge, of Omaha, Neb.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Derek Staples officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
