Dona W. Thompson, 91, of Dexter, Mo., died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at her residence.
Born Oct. 31, 1912, in Greene County, Ark., daughter of the late William J. and Susie Weaver Warbritton, she was owner/operator of Thompson Shoe Store in Malden and a member of the Church of Christ. She was a member of the WPFA, Home Extension Club and the Quilting Club.
On Nov. 14, 1931, she married Glen B. Thompson, who preceded her in death on July 22, 1969.
Survivors include one son, Glen Allen Thompson and wife, Neta Thompson, of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Amy Mosley Risener, of Dexter and Rosemarry Richey and husband, James A., of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at the Church of Christ in Dexter with Don Bahr and Dwight Bryant officiating.
Burial will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery in Paragould, Ark.
