Linnie Green, 81, of Campbell, Mo., died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Born Oct. 17, 1922, in Norman, Okla., daughter of the late Gove Clarence and Dovie Ellease Polsgrove Dodson, she was a homemaker and attended the First Assembly of God Church in Campbell.
On Dec. 7, 1940, in Clarkton, Mo., she married Asa Clyde Green, who preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 1993. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Lee and Richard Dodson; one sister, Jean Crawford and two grandchildren, Karen Marie Green and Steven Shannon Osborn.
Survivors include one daughter, Marieta Osborn, of Wappappello, Mo.; one son, Acy Lee Green, of Campbell; one sister, Francis Bost, of Buckeye, Ark.; four grandchildren, Barry Osborn, of Desloge, Mo., Richard Osburn, of Columbia, S.C. and Delinda Papak and Michelle Williams, both of Bradenton, Fla. and seven great-grandchildren, Steven, Stephanie, Bradley, Tyler and Kyla Osborn and Crystal and Allison Papak.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 23, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with the Rev. Clyde Turner officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
