Hinda Thomas

Hinda Tinsley Thomas, 92, of Rector, Ark., died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Ark.

Born Sept. 8, 1911, in Leonard, Ark., daughter of the late George and Mary Tinsley, she was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

Surviors include her husband, Ott Thomas, of Rector; one brother, Melvin Tinsley, of Shelbyville, Ind.; three sisters, Flora Lee Wells, of Greensburg, Ind., Nadine Bogue and Marlene Linville and husband, John, all of Morristown, Ind.; four grandchildren, Wilma Osbon, of Paragould, Judy Thomas, of Rector, Mary Pribnow, of Wisconsin and Larry Jones, of Texas; nine great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

She wa preceded in death by one son, A.L. Happy Thomas and one brother, Gilbert Tinsley,

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, at the Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector with William Vangilder officiating.

Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Rector.
