Dean Noe, 64, of Malden, Mo., died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Sept. 12, 1939, in Modale, Iowa, son of the late Pearl Santie Noe, he was a U.S. Army veteran, owner/operator of Barker/Noe Service Station in Malden and of the Methodist faith. He helped organize the Malden Football Boosters and was a longtime supporter. He was a member of the Four Mile Masonic Lodge No. 212, A.F & A.M., a Cub Master and a Boy Scout leader.
On Nov. 25, 1960, in Malden, he married Lindola Barker, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Scott Noe and wife, Jodie, of Malden and Shane Noe and wife, Waynette, of Little Rock, Ark.; six brothers, John Noe, of Newbern, Tenn., Gary Noe, of Malden, Darrell Noe, of Little Rock, Kenny Noe, of Andover, Ill., Dutch Noe, of Truman, Ark. and Donald Noe, of Las Cruces, N.M.; two sisters, Louise Headley, of Malden and Marle Forrest, of Flint, Mich. and three grandchildren, Matthew and Logan Noe, both of Malden and Lauren Noe, of Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Maxine Roney and Elizabeth Dye.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Landess Funeral home Chapel in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stan Wood and Mike Bullock officiating. Masonic Rites by Chaplain Bob Livesay will also be held.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
